The Singapore chapter follows on the heels of the Bosphoros Strait Tunnel chapter, the Sri Lanka Expressway chapter, and the Vietnam Noi Bai Airport chapter. Singapore is a hub of finance and trade in Southeast Asia. While working on construction of the Thomson subway line, which cuts north to south through the center of Singapore, an engineer reminisces on time spent with her classmate in her home town, while working enthusiastically to create the future. Masami Nagasawa performs.
